Quepos is really picking up the pace right now when it comes to hot fishing. They are building a new marina expected to be done possibly by 2009 or before. The new Quepos Marina is named "Marina Pez Vela" and it will surely change the town of Quepos. In a way it will be sad to see that small town with so much heritage lost in new developments, but business is business and Central America is really feeling the growth pains.
Tamarindo is another really hot spot. After visiting there and checking out how good is Tamarindo Sport Fishing, we decided to spend some time in the town. Amazing actually! There is so much construction going on it makes it almost impossible to get anywhere. Noisy, dirty, and people everywhere, but the sport fishing is still great. |
